Celebrating multilingualism

At APS, every student thrives, regardless of their home language. Our EAL programme ensures all students can access the English curriculum with ease. EAL teachers provide personalised instruction, helping students succeed while feeling valued and included. Teachers monitor and assess progress to support growth, while offering parents resources and support.

EAL staff are available for face-to-face or online meetings for parents and carers, providing them resources and support, since family involvement is critical to each student's success. This ongoing communication highlights the important role parents play in fostering their child's educational journey.

Early Years

Young learners start their learning journey with a core focus on English in the Early Years, supported by their home language.

International School

Primary school students develop English alongside their home language, supported by a multilingual environment. This approach makes sure they can communicate in at least one global language to prepare for a diverse world.

Secondary school students enhance their skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with options to learn Chinese or French. This multilingual focus fosters cultural appreciation and prepares students to thrive in a multicultural world.

National School

In our private national primary school, students thrive in a multilingual environment where both Bahasa Malaysia and English are integrated into the curriculum. Through our Dual Language Programme, Science and Mathematics subjects are taught in English, while Bahasa Malaysia remains the primary language of instruction.

Secondary school students enhance their language skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with the option to choose Chinese or Arabic as an additional language.

I get to improve my English! I love the school because studying English is so much fun and although challenging, I can see the impovements I have made.
