Our kindergarten in Selangor inspires independent learning through purposeful play and engaging activities.
Our youngest learners grow literacy and life skills through purposeful play, lively guided discussions, arts and crafts sessions and exploring the outdoors.
Children learn to express themselves and communicate in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia through interactive, fun lessons.
EYFS learners have their own Preschool centre with thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor learning areas for engaging lessons and play.
Our teachers team up with parents to share observations, updates and improve learning experiences for our youngest learners.
Our admissions process is simple, personalised and includes multilingual support for international families.
Learning with curiosity, growing with confidence. Our youngest learners build literacy and other foundational skills for life through our enhanced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum from England.
Building healthy bodies and active minds Our Early Years learners improve physical strength, coordination, control and movement through outdoor play, interactive games, hands-on activities and creative dance and music classes. They also learn about good hygiene and healthy practices at home.
Growing self-awareness and lasting bonds
Early Years learners grow confidence, understand and manage their emotions, build positive relationships and learn social behaviour. They develop these skills through group play, lively discussions, role-playing, storytelling and exciting, interactive activities.
Supporting self-expression through communication
Our youngest learners grow to speak clearly and confidently, listen with attention and understand what is said to be able to respond meaningfully.
They develop these foundational communication skills through guided conversations and storytelling, active listening activities and performing songs, rhymes and poems.
Connecting through a global language
Children strengthen their language skills through English classes. They learn to form words and read simple sentences in daily phonics classes. They build vocabulary through imaginative storytelling and understand the meaning of words through interactive discussions. Writing starts with practicing letters and word-building, slowly progressing to forming simple sentences.
Making numbers fun and learning easy
EYFS children learn basic mathematics through engaging games, puzzles and solving problems using real-life examples. Children learn how to count and recognise what comes before or after a number. They progress to do simple addition and subtraction and explore shapes, patterns and sizes.
Learning to be curiousChildren understand their physical surroundings and their community by exploring, observing and finding out about people, places, technology and the environment.
Strengthening reading, writing and comprehension
Children learn how read and write competently to open up a whole new world of knowledge and imagination.
Inspiring creativity and playful imaginationChildren develop self-assurance and discover boundless creativity as they share their thoughts, ideas and feelings through art, music, movement, dance, role-play, design and technology.
At APS, children spark curiosity and develop key skills through our Early Years core learning pillars. Here they thrive in a multilingual environment, setting the stage for success in their next steps of learning.
