Ages 11-16Our secondary years programme guides students Years 7-9 (Key Stage 3) and Years 10-11 (Key Stage 4) preparing them for their IGCSE exams at the end of Year 11. This stage is crucial as students grow into responsible young adults. They become resilient, ambitious and take ownership of their decisions, building a strong foundation for their future.
Students progress to advanced lessons leading to IGCSE exams, with elective options in Science, Arts and Humanities alongside core subjects.
APIS students fast-track English fluency while continuing to grow in their home language, including learning Malay and Chinese or French as first or additional languages.
Students build communication, digital fluency and self-leadership through clubs, sports, workshops, extracurricular activities and international programmes.
Students are guided on pathways tailored to their goals and supported by one-on-one career counselling. They explore future opportunities through the ISP Future Pathways Festival and Future Skills workshops led by global experts.

At the end of secondary school, students can transition smoothly to our sister school, Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park, to work towards British A Levels, receiving enhanced guidance for university or career success.

7.30am
A warm, structured start as staff greet and guide students to class after drop-off
7.30am - 10am
Engaging curriculum (English National Curriculum and IGCSE) with a strong focus on academic excellence and critical thinking.
10am - 10.30am
Time for a break to relax, have a snack and engage in supervised activities or social time with peers.
12.30pm - 1.10pm
A balanced meal to refuel for the afternoon, followed by the opportunity to join various clubs on offer.
1.10pm - 3.30pm
Subject-specific learning focused on preparing older pupils for IGCSE exams.
Activities are held from 3:45pm to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Fridays.
